Communion

First Reconciliation and First Eucharist

Children who are in their second year of Religious Education prepare for this Sacrament of Healing, First Reconciliation. Parents, as the first teachers of their children, are asked to participate in this teaching so that together, we may guide the children to our loving and forgiving Father.

First Eucharist

Children receive this Sacrament of Initiation at the conclusion of their second year of Religious Education. During classroom instruction and completed home assignments, children are educated on the Eucharistic Meal as both a Sacrifice and a Celebration, and the special gift it is to us. Reflection on the Sunday readings at home is encouraged so that Children might come to know our Savior, Jesus Christ.
